CARAMEL SQUARES

SHORTBREAD LAYER

175g/6 oz Plain Flour

55g/1.9 oz Caster Sugar

115g/4 oz Unsalted Butter

Add all ingredients to a food processor to form breadcrumbs. Press firmly into lightly greased tin. Chill for 20 minutes. Bake in preheated oven per below until just golden.

CARAMEL LAYER

100g/3.5 oz Butter

75g/2.5 oz Dark Brown Soft Sugar

75g/2.5 oz Caster Sugar

2 tablespoons Golden Syrup

397g/14 oz Condensed Milk

1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
